Elizabeth Query, Co-Owner

I believe we all deserve the chance to reckon with our life experience.

My approach to therapy rests on the belief that when you reflect on the systems that you’re a part of – your family, relationships and beyond – there is opportunity to find sustainable healing. The unique stories of our lives make us who we are, and are deserving of care and celebration. Many of us live under the heavy weight of existential dread in a culture that is often antagonistic to joy and pleasure. I prioritize creating meaningful and trust-based connections with my clients while I walk alongside them in their intimate exploration of self, while acknowledging the very real mess than can be our lives. Tenets of my practice include building and maintaining self-trust, promoting independence and confidence, boundary work, distress tolerance, exploring wounds, deconstructing internalized harms of patriarchy, and a mixture of both appropriate challenge and client-led pacing. I work from a systemic lens, pulling from the elements of Collaborative, Emotionally Focused, Attachment-based, Acceptance & Commitment and Narrative Therapy modalities.

I am passionate about working with couples who are struggling to connect and wish to communicate generatively, working with adult individuals to explore past and present seasons of challenge and growth, and adult families interested in reparative experiences. When we actively explore our habitual reactions, relationship patterns and how we choose to engage with our pain, we grow. I am here to facilitate these challenging conversations.

I am pleased to offer in-person or virtual sessions for Colorado-based folks of any gender expression, sexual orientation, race, culture, size, and ability. I currently do not accept insurance.
